The Professor Diogo Sousa-Martins, CEO of ELS Solutions and PhD in Ophthalmology, presents at the ASCRS (American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Annual Meeting on Cataract, IOL and Refractive Surgery – the largest international congress on cataract and refractive surgery, from April 14 to 16, in Washington – the latest scientific developments in Innovation in Ophthalmology.
Ophthalmic surgeons and academics attend the ASCRS Annual Meeting in order to incorporate current and advanced treatment strategies for ocular conditions, including anterior segment and refractive surgery, glaucoma and retinal conditions. The main goal is to develop appropriate treatment plans to address complicating factors pre-, peri- and post-operatively, by comparing and contrasting ophthalmic treatments and technology.
